Our TY Internet Safety Ambassadors and their helpers want to give everyone advice while we are on lockdown & learning from home.
Loreto is once again a hive of activity as we welcome eight schools for our annual Model UN conference. We thank our guest speaker Rachel Maguire to talked to our delegates on Wednesday morning about "Sustainable Fashion" and how we can do more more to protect our planet.
The first year students visited the Green Schools and Development Education exhibit in the library. The students really enjoyed reading the information on sustainable living from the development goals to how to dispose of our Christmas trees correctly. Of course the students also enjoyed the many interesting props on show. Well done to both Committees on their hard work.

27/11/19 – Enterprise Week – Question of the day
27th of November marks the start of Enterprise week in Loreto - leading up to our Market Day on Tuesday 3rd of December.
Congratulations to all the students who travelled to this year’s Cross-Country Championships held on Tuesday at Thurles Crokes Complex. Loreto Clonmel placed in the scoring team events collecting bronze medals in the Intermediate and Senior category Also, two members of the group brought home individual bronze medals in Junior and Intermediate category!
This years Build A Bank Challange was launched today in Loreto!
Well done to our students who travelled to Presentation Secondary School, Ballingarry today to compete in the regional rounds of the annual poetry speaking competition organised by Poetry Ireland and The National Library of Ireland in partnership with UCC. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the opportunity to recite two poems from memory in front of a large audience.

Congratulations to Heather Doyle our First Year Student who has been selected to be a delegate at the first Youth Parliament Assembly on Climate Change. She beat thousands of entries to make the 157 chosen!
Today, a group of our First Year students, accompanied by Mr. Kett and Mr. Wallace, travelled to Rockwell College to participate in a Football Blitz. Both teams put in fantastic performances and thorougly enjoyed their day. It was an added bonus to meet Orla O' Dwyer, Tipperary dual star, with the Mary Quinn All-Ireland Intermediate cup in tow. Well done to all.
